            Onion Chapati Recipe

    

Onion Chapati 


Ingredients:


 Wheat flour – 250g
 Red onion – 2
 Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
 Green chillies – 2
 Coriander seed powder – 1 tsp
 Gram masala powder – 1/4 tsp
 Coriander leaves – Few
 Salt – Required
 Oil – Required

How to Prepare Onion Chapati:

You can prepare Onion Chapati within 15-20 minutes.

4 Take a pan, add oil, once oil heats up, add cumin seeds

5 Once it pops up, add onion and green chillies and saute it 3 minutes till onion become golden brown

6 Then add coriander leaves, followed by garam masala powder, coriander powder and mix it well till the raw smell goes off

7 Turn off the flame and save this onion stuffings in a bowl and keep aside

8 Take the chapati dough, split them into palm hold sized small balls

9 And take the chapati board, roll this small balls into round shapes like chapati then keep the small amount of onion stuffing inside, close it and make like a ball

10 Again roll this stuffed chapati ball into round shape carefully without the onion stuffing comes out

11 Keep the dosa or chapati tawa in medium flame, apply little amount of oil and spread it well

12 After oil gets heat up, lay around the round shaped stuffed chapati dough and cook it for 3-4 minutes

13 After that turn to other side and cook for 2 minutes.

14 Now the crunchy Onion Chapati is ready to serve.
